Minutes from the last Meeting

Minutes - of the September 16th 2025 meeting were approved unanimously

Matters Arising

• Signage on Oxford Road – Catherine and Kevin will see if the present signage can be replaced.

Staffing

• 2 new GP’s have joined the team they are newly qualified and working 3 days.
• 1 new GP is starting in November and working 3 days. 
• Deputy Nurse manager - Nurse has been recruited from within to the post.
• Recruiting more Nurses.

Compliments, Complaints and Feedback 

• There were 7 compliments.
• There were 32 complaints out of 10.000 Patients seen. 4 were formal in writing.
• 4 complaints about staff, 1 on the phone and 3 online.
• Problems with triage form and some changes needed, however current provider does not offer customisation, looking at options.
• The Clinical Operations Manager reviews triage to ensure it is to a high standard.
• Re: Telephone calls to book appointments – Monday morning the wait could be 20 minutes, during other days down to 2 minutes.
• Waiting lists are improving but if wanting to see certain specific Doctors it can be a longer wait.

Constitution

• Catherine will look into getting this changed to a Word document from PDF.

McMillan Coffee Morning

The full amount raised on the 29th September is not available at this time and will be shared at the next meeting as amount sent direct to McMillan through QR code are not available at this time. JR and JN had a table at the Children’s Flu clinic on Saturday 30th September and the children enjoyed a cake after their vaccination. The children and parents were very grateful.

Discussion on the day and times of PPG meeting

It was decided to keep the meeting on a Thursday, except when there is a member of Staff who wants to attend and then it will be moved to accommodate them.
